KJellan Story

Meet Kjellan Oduor a recruit from Big Dream Vision who was recruited in Kisumu, Kenya. Kjellan well known as 'KJ' had a tough life growing up in kenya. Big Dream Vision held its annual tournament to recruit talented and skilled players and when Kj showed up we knew he was going to be a star in the game of basketball. ''Standing at 6'9'' he came towering over everyone'' Ishmael Founder of Big Dream Vision says. ''He was a kid looking to push himself and beat down all adversities to be able to get the scholarship opportunity at Grand River Academy.

Kjellan struggled but he had a vision and when he got to the United States he got to work and played AAU under the late Coach Lowe at Seawolves BDV affiliate program. Kjellan went on and caught eyes of recruitors and received a full ride with Western Carolina University the Summer of 2021.
